Terms & Conditions

In short: These are the Terms and Conditions that govern every bathroom renovation we carry out. We publish them in full as a PDF so you can read them at home, show them to a family member or your own solicitor, and ask us any questions before you sign.

What the document covers

Our Terms & Conditions set out, in plain language, the rules of a bathroom renovation contract with T40 Renovations Ltd. In particular they cover:

  • What work we do — scope, materials, subcontractors, Building Regulations compliance (Part P electrics, Gas Safe, WRAS water fittings, Part F ventilation).
  • How you pay — a £200 booking fee on signing (refunded in full if you cancel within your 14-day cooling-off period; otherwise deducted from your final balance), 50% on Day 1 when materials are delivered and work begins, and the remaining 50% (less the £200) within 7 days of the signed Snagging List. Bank transfer (BACS) only.
  • Your statutory consumer rights — the 14-day cooling-off right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (including the model cancellation form at Annex A), your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and how a cancellation mid-project is priced fairly.
  • Our workmanship guarantee — 12 months on all installation work, preserving your Consumer Rights Act 2015 rights.
  • Complaints and dispute resolution — how we handle a complaint, and the named independent Dispute Resolution Ombudsman you can escalate to free of charge if we cannot resolve it.
  • Privacy and photos — our data handling (cross-referenced to the Privacy Policy) and a separate opt-in for using photos/videos of your finished bathroom in our marketing.
  • Liability, insurance and force majeure — what we are and are not responsible for, our £1,000,000 public liability insurance, and what happens if severe weather, material supply failure or similar events disrupt the project.

Getting a full copy

The full Terms & Conditions document is provided as a PDF with every written quote we issue, so you can read it in full, print it, keep a copy for your records, or forward it to anyone you wish to consult before signing (for example a family member, solicitor, or insurance broker).

We normally reply within one working day. The full document is approximately 15 pages.

How the contract is signed

You do not have to agree to these Terms by visiting this page. The contract between you and T40 Renovations Ltd is only formed when:

  • We have provided you with a written quotation for your specific project;
  • We have given you a copy of these Terms & Conditions (PDF or printed) before you sign, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013;
  • Both parties sign the agreement — either on paper at the quote visit, or electronically by a signing link we send you by email.

After signing, you have a 14-day cooling-off period during which you can cancel the contract for any reason, without penalty. The model cancellation form is included in the PDF (Annex A).
